Hello my name is Monique Villalobos and I am running ASUA Senate 2009-2010!  I

am currently a junior, majoring in Political Science with a double minor in,

Business Administration and Chinese.  Aspiring to a foreign policy advisor, I

plan to attend law school upon graduation.  My involvement in the community

includes a wide range of activities from the Ronald McDonald house to Tucson

Marathon.  Additionally I am a new member of the professional business

fraternity Delta Sigma Pi and was a member of the Accounting Students

Association for three semesters.  Dedicated to improving our campus and

community, I feel I will truly bring the voice of the students to these types

of decisions.

Some of my platforms are improving bike paths and strengthening the relationship

between the school?s administration and Greek Life.  I also want to create a

new web reg system!  I plan to further the use of wait lists in all departments

and colleges for the convenience of the students. With computerized wait lists

we will not have to check every 2 seconds for an opening or fight our way to

the front of the line on the 1st day of class with our add/drop form in hand.

I am excited and ready for this opportunity to be one of YOUR elected

officials! ?
