Ryan Klenke

Hello University of Arizona!!! My name is Ryan E. Klenke and I am running for one of the coveted ASUA Senate positions. I am a freshman majoring in Political Science and am also an Honors student. My extensive campus involvement includes being a Freshman Class council member, was an active volunteer with UA Votes 2008, president of my pledge class, and am a member of the University of Arizona Young Democrats. I even managed to accomplish all of this while being absent from the UA for two months after my car accident, which left me with two broken legs. As you can imagine, this absence made me realize just how dedicated I really am to the UA since I managed to stay updated on all of the happenings while enduring the healing process. My platforms that I am dedicated to are as follows: 1) Assisting with the smooth transition of the upcoming Unity Center by creating a peer advisory network to help in the administration and daily functioning of each included program, 2) Securing the Women’s Resource Center a place on this campus by making it possible for it to hire a full-time, paid director, and 3) Strengthening the preexisting bond between CSIL and ASUA by sponsoring more events together and further including each other in decision making processes to create more leadership opportunities within student life. Thank you all very much and I am encouraging you to go and ROCK ur VOTE!!!
