Stephen Wallace

Hey Fellow Cats! First off, I would like to say thank you so much for electing me senator for this year’s term! I had a blast serving The University of Arizona student body, and am hoping that I will be able to do the same this upcoming year!

A bit of background information about myself: my hometown is Erie, Pennsylvania, but at the beginning of my freshman year my family and I moved to Ahwatukee, Arizona. I have loved everything about The U of A and Arizona thus far; from its 100-degree weather, to its picturesque scenery, I consider Arizona my new “home.”

After deliberating about what I should run on for this year’s election, I decided on a couple of unconventional, but intriguing platforms.

First: I would like to continue my project that I brought to U of A’s orientation this year, which is the “New Student Survival Guide.” Basically this project is intended for freshman, and transfer students who are not yet familiar with the college scene. However, this booklet could benefit anyone who utilizes it. This booklet includes a variety of information. From information about each of the 500 clubs and organizations on campus, to directions on how to do laundry, it’s all-inclusive!

My next platform in which I am very excited about is dependent on the views of the student body. If elected, I plan on immediately holding a senate forum to receive views from the student body on ideas of what myself, as well as the other 9 senators can work on. This platform will give you, the student body, control over my senate projects.

Thank you all so much for being the best student body in the country, and I look forward to representing you all for a second term.
